Bridge Forwarding Table

The Bridge Forwarding Table contains the bridging ports per destination MAC address.

Use the Global Forwarding Table pane to monitor bridge forwarding nodes.

To monitor bridge forwarding nodes

Select Bridge > Global Forwarding Table. The Global Forwarding Table pane is displayed.

 

Table 19: Bridge Forwarding Table Parameters

Parameter	Description
Mac Address	The MAC address of the node.
Port	The port through which the node has been learned — that is, the port through which frames are received from this entry.
Status	Describes how the node entry was added to the list, and indicates status. Values: • learned — The entry was automatically learned. • self — The entry is a device port. • Mgmt — The entry is a static node manually entered using the Edit button. • Other — The node status cannot be described by one of the above.
