Managing Interface Status and Properties — L2 Interface Table
You can view the status and settings for interfaces using all management tools.
The status information comprises the following:

Interface Index — The index value of the physical interface.

MAC Address — The MAC address of the interface.
*
Interface Admin Status — Either up or down.
*
Operational Status — Either Up or Down.
* To display the interfaces and their configuration
Select Device > L2 Interface.
* Note
Device MAC to Port Correlation specifies whether the device correlates the first 42 bits of the destination MAC address of incoming packets or all 48 bits. The MAC address of each port on the platform is the base MAC address plus the port index.
Values:
Share — The device correlates only the first 42 bits of the destination MAC address of incoming packets. This value may improve performance.
Enforce — The device correlates all 48 bits of the destination MAC address of incoming packets to those of the port. This is considered a a more secure MAC-to-port correlation method.
