RADIUS Authentication for Management
 
Before a management session starts, LinkProof can authenticate the user with a RADIUS server. You can also select whether or not to use the User Table when a RADIUS server is not available.
RADIUS Authentication is available for the following interfaces:

When you enable and configure the RADIUS Authentication feature, the RADIUS server must be available and accessible to the LinkProof device.
* To configure RADIUS Authentication for device management

Select Security > Users. The User Table and Authentication pane is displayed.

Local User Table — The device uses the User Table to authenticate access.
RADIUS and Local User Table — The device uses the RADIUS servers to authenticate access. If the request to the RADIUS server times out, the device uses the User Table to authenticate access.

Select Services > RADIUS. The RADIUS Parameters pane is displayed.

RADIUS Retries
Defines number of connection retries to the RADIUS server, when the RADIUS server does not respond to the first connection attempt.
RADIUS Timeout
How many seconds device waits for reply from the RADIUS server before a retry, or, if the RADIUS Retries value is exceeded, before the device acknowledges that the server is off line.
RADIUS Client Lifetime
Duration, in seconds, for client authentication. After the lifetime expires, the device re-authenticates the user.
