Configuring ARP Parameters

To configure ARP parameters

1.	Select Router > IP Router > ARP Table. The ARP Table pane is displayed.

2.	Click Create. The ARP Table Create pane is displayed.

3.	Configure the parameters; and then, click Set.

 

Table 61: ARP Parameters

Parameter	Description
Interface Index	The interface number on which the station resides.
MAC Address	The MAC address of the station.
IP Address	The IP address of the station.
Type	The entry type. Values: • other — Not used. • invalid — Deletes an existing ARP entry from the table. • dynamic — The entry is learned from the ARP. If the entry is not active for a predetermined time (Inactive ARP Timeout parameter), the node is deleted from the table. • static — The entry has been configured by the network management station and is permanent.
