HTTP Policies
Serving high numbers of concurrent users requires Web Servers to handle large volumes of connections, which can exhaust Server connection capacity, and affect clients Quality of Experience (QoE). To lower the connection volumes, AppDirector offers the option to multiplex HTTP connections, thus serving multiple clients over much smaller number of server connection and ensuring short response time by servers, which leads to improving clients QoE.
Since HTTP policy is compulsory in most Layer 4 policies (any policy that is port 80 or 443 or application HTTP or HTTPS), there is a "Default" HTTP policy that you can configure that is attached to any new Layer 4 policy created.
